School's started again.  I spent the entire winter break working on Harvest and Blossoming for a charity auction, and I'll get those posted as quickly as I can.  I really like using the Derwent Drawing Pencils a great deal more than I thought I would.  My husband went and got me the whole set of twenty-four pencils, so I'm really excited about experimenting with them.  I like to use complementary colors in my work, but with the handful I had I was pretty restricted to a nearly monochromatic look.  And all things considered, I think that these particular pieces would have benefited with having a bit more color to them, especially Blossoming.

Ah well -- it just gives me an excuse to expand this into a series.
